Philosoph, Écrivain, Saunterer
Le beauté sera CONVULSIVE ou ne sera pas.
I’m a Chicago-based philosopher and associate professor at Nightingale College, where I teach applied ethics and critical thinking. Besides teaching, I devote my time to the craft of writing and the art of living well. I’m not particularly gifted at either. I’m currently working on what I can only properly call my great white whale, On the Arctic Glass (my first novel), which I’ve chased now for over ten years but which constantly evades me with deft and subtle movement. To temper my monomania, I work on shorter pieces, which invariably end up in my blog, Versuche (above). When I’m not writing, I’m walking.
